Surgical Methods on how to Effectively Remove Skin Tags

No matter how some claims that there are natural ways of removing skin tags, it is still safe and advisable to let the experts deal with it rather than doing it by yourself without any assurance that the procedure you are doing has desirable effects. It is more convenient if one lets the dermatologist take a quick look at it and decide on what to do with the growth.

Tags are not at all cancerous and have no chances of growing into one unlike what moles do. 3. Tying
Even without the use of the freezing methods, one can relinquish the tags just by tying it with threads. Through the tying, it will impend blood circulation in that area which will soon become a necrotic tissue and will become dead cells in a couple of days. When the tags slough off, it will take no time for the skin to be attached with each other again. Even if this works effectively, it is still a tedious job most especially if the skin tags are multiple in numbers. It is still much better if you let the dermatologist do it for you.

4. Excision
This is a bloody procedure that is considered as one of the most popular methods of eliminating tags. In this process, tags are removed through the use of scalpels or scissors. This method is more appropriate for growths that are large in size. In order to prevent further bleeding, aluminum chloride can be applied.

Aside from these methods of skin tag removal, there are still other remedies that your dermatologist may offer you. That’s why it is best that you consult the experts first to have a wider knowledge on the things that should be done to your skin tags.
