Jiu Jitsu and Becoming a ChampMake sure that you hang out with those individuals who have the ‘champion attitude’. You don’t need special chants to become a winner because if you’re determined to achieve something, you will do something in order to be productive. Don’t just sit and sulk because you will not achieve anything. Be someone who will serve as a role model for other young individuals. You must have the proper mindset in order to be a champion. You should think positively and you must have a positive attitude or traits as well. You can’t be a champion without proper knowledge and enough practice. It will take years of Jiu Jitsu training before you can gain all the knowledge you need to become a title holder. Beginners usually wear white belts and with regular practice, they will be promoted to blue belt. As you spend years of Jiu Jitsu practice, you will be promoted to higher belt ranks. Your instructor can help you until you can already fight in a competition. But you can’t be on top immediately. You must do it step by step. You must be able to defeat other fighters. The more fighters you defeat, the higher is your chance to win the championship title. As you progress in your Jiu Jitsu training, you can achieve maximum physical health and you will feel stronger. You will also develop mental toughness which is needed in your future fights. In order to compete in the championship level, you should have the self confidence and the right skills. If you’re instructor is one of the best, you will also become one of the best Jiu Jitsu players in your country, and perhaps the best player in the world. Jiu Jitsu is best learned at an early age. Many kids and teens are now into Jiu Jitsu. If you start early, your knowledge about Jiu Jitsu will grow with you. As the cliché goes – you can’t teach old dogs new tricks. If you’re still young and you have a deep passion for Jiu Jitsu, encourage that passion and sign up for Jiu Jitsu trainings. The fees involved are quite minimal so you don’t have to shell out money. Besides, all the knowledge you will learn in the classes will stay with you as you grow older. Hopefully, after many years of training and practice, you will become a title holder. Be prepared because Jiu Jitsu is a complex form of martial arts. You can’t learn this sport in days or weeks. It will surely take you months and years before you can learn all the Jiu Jitsu techniques in order to defeat an opponent. Aside from learning the techniques, you should also learn about using leverage so that you can easily defeat bigger opponents. Remember these things – dedication, diligence, good Jiu Jitsu instructor, positive traits or attitude, and strong character; these are the keys to be a champ. Comments |
